Still in Pain After
Trying Everything? SONIK Can Help.
There's a reason your neck or back hasn't fully healed, and it's not that you haven't tried hard enough. Most treatments manage symptoms. Very few address the structural reason pain keeps coming back.
SONIK is different. It's a 15-minute, non-invasive treatment that uses precisely calibrated sound-wave impulses to gently reposition the spine, not with manual force, but by working with your nervous system's natural response to specific frequencies. Cleared by Health Canada and the FDA. Backed by over 2 million data points.

Most treatments relieve symptoms. They don’t fix the structure.
If you’ve tried massage, physiotherapy, or injections and your pain keeps returning, it’s likely because none of those treatments fully corrected the underlying structural problem.
Chronic neck and back pain is almost always tied to spinal misalignment, vertebrae and discs that have shifted out of position, putting ongoing pressure on nerves and surrounding tissue. When your spine is structurally off, your muscles and ligaments are working overtime just to keep you upright. That’s why you feel tight, fatigued, and sore even on “good” days.
Adjustments can move a misaligned vertebra. But if the spine doesn’t hold the correction, pain returns, sometimes within hours. What’s missing is the step that helps the correction stick.
That’s the problem SONIK was designed to solve.
What SONIK Does.. Simply Put
The SONIK device deliver slow-frequency sound-wave impulses, called ALKINDI pulses, directly to the affected area of your spine. Think of it like a tuning fork for bone and connective tissue: different structures in the body respond to different frequencies, and SONIK uses 3D imaging software to calculate the exact frequency your specific spine needs.
Rather than applying force from outside (the way a manual chiropractic adjustment works), SONIK’s pulses are calibrated to the frequency at which your spine’s own tissues naturally want to move. This allows the spine to gently reposition without resistance, and because the treatment protocol is built from your individual diagnostic data and repeated consistently session to session, the results are designed to hold.
Most patients describe the sensation as a light vibration or gentle tingling. Many notice reduced pain, easier movement, and less stiffness, within the first few visits.

Chronic Back Pain and Disc-Driven Pain
For patients living with low back pain, recurring flare-ups, sciatica, disc irritation, or pain that keeps returning even after short-term relief. SONIK is designed to support a more structured, personalized approach when the problem goes beyond simple muscle tension.
Neck Pain, Headaches, and Postural Strain
Useful for patients whose neck tension, headaches, shoulder imbalance, or upper-spine irritation keep interfering with work, sleep, or training. This type of care is intended to support better alignment, movement, and day-to-day comfort.

Post-Concussion or Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery Support
For patients still dealing with dizziness, head and neck dysfunction, sensory overload, or incomplete recovery after a concussion or traumatic brain injury, SONIK may form part of a guided, supportive care plan focused on function, comfort, and progress over time.
Complex Neurological and Mobility Cases
For patients with more complicated symptom pictures, including mobility loss, chronic nerve irritation, balance challenges, or conditions such as MS where day-to-day function matters deeply. Care can be tailored around movement quality, comfort, and quality of life.

When Patients Want a Non-Surgical Next Step
Many people feel stuck between short-term symptom relief and more invasive treatment options. SONIK offers a personalized, non-invasive approach for patients who want to explore a more advanced plan before considering more aggressive care.

How SONIK Care Works
SONIK care begins with understanding what is driving your symptoms, then building a treatment plan designed around your body, your goals, and your response to care.
Assessment
Dr. Penney reviews your history, symptoms, and goals. You’ll discuss what’s been tried before and what you’re hoping to achieve.
3D Diagnostics
Advanced imaging maps the structural picture of your spine, what’s displaced, how much, and where. This is what makes the treatment truly personalized.
Personalized Treatment
The SONIK Intelligence software builds a treatment protocol specific to your diagnostic data. Visits are short, painless and treatment has no downtime for recovery.
Track the Change
Reassess response, function, and symptom changes across the care plan so patients understand what is improving and what comes next.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. SONIK is cleared by Health Canada and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as an aid in the management of chronic pain from structural abnormalities. It is non-invasive, painless, and requires no recovery time.
A chiropractic adjustment applies manual force to move a misaligned vertebra. SONIK uses precisely calibrated sound-wave impulses, calculated from your individual 3D diagnostic data, to encourage the spine to reposition at the frequency it naturally responds to. There’s no cracking, no force, and no hands-on manipulation involved.
According to SONIK’s clinical data, many patients begin to notice changes within the first 1 to 6 sessions. Results vary based on the nature and duration of your condition. The goal of a full treatment plan is structural change that lasts, not temporary relief that fades.
Most patients begin with a plan of 3 to 6 sessions per week over 2 to 4 weeks, followed by reassessment. Dr. Penney will build a plan based on your specific diagnostic findings and goals.
Most patients describe a gentle vibrating sensation or light tingling at the point of treatment. You may hear a low vibrating sound from the device. Sessions are designed to be completely comfortable.
